For this year's christmas, I would really love the following presents in the following order.
1. An air ticket from Sydney - London - Sydney
2. Someone to fly from London - Sydney - London
3. iPad 2 or 3 (if it's out by then!)

Most say "I love you". How many say "I'm in love with you"?

What exactly IS the difference?

I love you.
- It's a feeling. An emotion. I love rainbows.

I'm in love with you.
- It's a state of being. It's a yearning for someone. You want to see that person, hear that person, be near that person. You want to be part of their lives, in their lives, be a part of them. That's where the "in" comes in.

When couples split up, it doesn't mean that they do not love each other. No, it just means that they are no longer in love with each other. Love doesn't die so easily but when you stop being in love with him, he no longer matters.

Leaving someone you are in love with hurts. It's like losing a part of you.

That, is the difference.

So amazing of me that just by standing, I was able to twist my ankle!

Ordered McDonalds on Monday to satisfy a Big Mac craving. As I opened the door to the delivery boy, my right ankle twisted. Now, this happens alot to me but the pain usually subsides in minutes. Not this time.

Ben brought me to a TMC clinic, Siah Ah Cheok Chinese Sin-Seh, located at Paya Lebar the next day for treatment as it was definitely twisted!

Daddy Siah released tension in all my 5 toes before he proceeding to gua sha my foot! Ignore the fact that my ankle was bruised and twisted already, he 'cracked' my ankle! I went to Heaven and back with an extremely painful descend. He then applied some medication and bandaged my ankle up.

I'm not supposed to get it wet so to shower, I'm going to have to elevate it. How? I'm technically supposed to sit on a stool and place my right leg up on another stool so that water will not drip downwards. Seems easy enough? Not when this is the size of the shower cubicle!

Easiest alternative is to refrain from showering. :X

2 days later, I returned to the clinic for a follow-up and was treated by Daddy Siah's daughter, Regina. Thank goodness! Daddy Siah could only converse in Mandarin and Hokkien, both of which I'm terrible at (do not judge me!) but Regina spoken fluent English and I was greatly relieved. She tended to my poor ankle then my aching back We had a great chat! :D

I shared with her my lack of personal hygiene the last 2 days and that I was looking forward to taking a nice long hot shower after the treatment. To my dismay, she bandaged my ankle and said to keep it on for another 2 days! Of course, she advised me on how I should shower without getting the dressing wet... again.

Now, its Saturday and I've removed my dressing and taken a well-deserved hot shower! RELIEVE!

My ankle's still slightly swollen and very very bruised though it was totally purple before hahaha!

It still hurts when I walk or even stand. I'm hoping that it will heal itself soon enough. :)

On this given day, people in many countries all over the World gather to celebrate and show their appreciation and love for the sacrifices made by the most important person in this World... Our Mums!

Happy Mothers' Day to all!

Mummy, I thank you for all the sleepless nights worrying for me. I thank you for all the sweat slaving over the stove to cook my favourite foods. I thank you for all the monies spent giving me wad I want. I thank you for all love you have unconditionally shown me. I thank you for teaching me how to express my love. I'm thankful for you being there to pick me up everytime I fall.

There's lots more I'm thankful for but the most important is that I thank you for all the soya bean u drank and ate while being preggy with me!! LOL! I have never ever had pimples!

I'm sorry for all that I've put u thru.

I still find it hard to let u go.

I'm not devastated, not in the least. I feel it's a load lifted off actually. Butbutbut... I feel lost! I've never felt like I've belonged in this time... I've always tried to find my place in this world and till now, I have not succeeded.

I need another tattoo. I need a direction in life... I need a reason to belong.

Thanks linlin for the prayers of happiness. I'm glad u did. Really. This was way overdue.

Déjà vu "already seen" is the experience of feeling sure that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously (an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has happened in the near past), although the exact circumstances of the previous encounter are uncertain. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eeriness," "strangeness," or "weirdness." The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past.

I used to dream and day-dream alot. In my day-dreams, I conjure up scenarios, names, places, people.

I once made up a scenario where I met a guy. His name was Jin Liang. The funny thing was that I purposely didnt wanna name him Jun Liang which is common. A week or so later, I was introduced to a guy in school. His name was Jin Liang.

Another time, I day-dreamed and I pictured my best fren and his wife getting into a car accident. Fear swept thru me. It freaked me out and I told him to be careful while driving. 2 weeks later, he got into a minor accident.

In my dreams, I often used to wake up not remembering my dreams but having the feelings of the dreams lingering. I would often wake up sad and crying, sometimes so scared and occasionally, I wake up smiling. Though this doesnt happen often enuf. :(

The dream which shocked me the most would be when I dreamt that D was possessed. Mind you, I've never taken part in those 7th month prayer stuff before. I knew that D had once taken part in these and had Deities speak thru him.

Well, I dreamt that we were in... Malaysia? D, his mum and I were on a holiday? We were walking through some sort of night market and there was like an area there. Suddenly he fell on the ground and started shaking violently. We were so scared and tried our best to wake him.

Just then, an old man came forward and knelt down opposite me. He asked if I wanted to save him. Of cos, I replied Yes! The old man asked me to feed him my blood. o.O

I did as I was told and soon D recovered.

Months passed and soon I forgot about this... until 1 fateful day. We were all partying at the old Club '97 @ The Hotel Pheonix. I was ready to go and tried to rush D into saying his goodbyes. Suddenly, he started to act drunk and I thought he was gonna vomit! He held onto the bar counter and shook his head violently. Everytime I went close to him, he would get into an "attack" mode. His brothers then dragged him out the backdoor.

A while later, they explained to me that he was possessed and the Deity does not like females thus the"'attack" mode. -_-"

It took 6mths for this dream to come true.

butbutbut!

My deja vu today was out of the blue. I absolutely cannot remember when I had this dream. The sms was exactly the same. I looked up from my phone and the scene was the same! I was at chronos and my bishop looked exactly as my dream. I'm sure this could not have happened before cos it's at least 2 yrs ago when I was even at chronos and it was my Ice Mage, not Cleric.

I've always believed that my deja vus are like a marking to tell me that this is the path I was supposed to walk. It's like arrows pointing the direction for me.

What do you do when true love hits but you find that you are already with someone else?

Watched "He's not really that into you" yesterday and this question wad raised.

So wad do you do?

1. Do you ignore temptation and be with the person you are currently with? Live each day being contented and not knowing?

2. Will you leave behind the relationship and be with your true love?

The scenario given was of a man who was happily married to his wife for 15 years. He met a woman who he felt was The ONE for him. He left his wife and married The ONE and was a happy man for the next 22 years.

I believe that there are paths in Life that we must all take. These paths bring us closer to where we need to be. For some, these paths may sometimes seem like they are taking us farther but in the greater scheme of things, it's wad we must do.

When those paths lead me to HIM, yes I will, I'll leave and start a new life with HIM.

Selfish as it may seem, you deserve the chance to be happy ya? :D

Sometimes I dun get it.

I ask for something and it was given to me, no questions asked. Later on when the giver asks wad was the item used for, he was informed that it was given to help a fren. He thought that I had the need for the item thus, he gave it willingly.

Mind U, this is a pretty worthless in-game item. The quantity was small too.

So upon finding out that it wasnt for me, Giver gets mad.

So now, who's at fault? We are talking about pretty insignificant items here though. Was it my fault for not informing him who it was for? Was it his fault for assuming it was for me?

I made to Swansea and back in 1 piece! yay! So yea, my cough got relatively worse, took loads of cough syrup and lozenges in a futile attempt to stifle my hacking and spewing. =.=

We didn't get to do much though except for eating and playing the pokies. Well, it rained and rained non-stop from the day before up until now? The rain has not let up at all! I do wish this rain holds out till it reaches the bushfires in Victoria though.

Well, we made $$$$ at the pokies so booooo!

SONG BO!

Here are just some pics of swansea... not taken by me! Remember, it was RAINING??!!! RAWRR!

So mummy says we'll go again one of these days. Fishing is great there, I hear. :)

I feel like a dog!

Have been coughing for the past week. My voice is so hoarse and my throat raspy. With every cough, my back cramps up, my chest aches.

It's Valentines' Day tomorrow and we are going to Swansea for the weekend. I was so looking forward having my little getaway... and now this! But it's ok! I will diligently gulp down my cough syrup and sleep all the way to Swansea!

Oh wells!

Happy Valentines' Day to all the lovers out there!

In the last few days, Victoria suffered a massive tragedy. With the summer's heatwave at its peak, arsonists (mother-fuckas who have nothing better to effing do) have set ablaze at least 25 bushfires across the state of Victoria.

With the death toll approaching 200 and almost 1000 homes destroyed
, Australia has rallied around and raised $30 million for the victims.

A total of $28 million has been donated to the 2009 Victorian Bushfire Fund, which doesn't include corporate and government donations.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has announced an extra $5 million on top of the $10 million already pledged by the federal government.

Aldi Supermarkets gave $250,000.

Honda Australia donated $200,000, while the Australia Olympic Committee and V8 Supercars Australia each donated $100,000.

Australian golfers Craig Parry and Nick O'Hern pledged a total of $200,000, while the proceeds of race meetings in Victoria this weekend will also go to the appeal.

Help even came from Singapore and New Zealand!!!

Singapore has offered Australia the use of a fleet of helicopters based in Queensland to battle wildfires that have claimed 173 lives, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has said.

"If it would be helpful to your efforts, Singapore can offer the use of our Super Puma helicopters currently stationed in Oakey for your relief efforts," Mr Lee said in a letter to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd .

"We are also ready to help in any other way that we can," he added in the letter, released by Singapore's foreign ministry late Monday (local time).

The Super Puma helicopters are suitable for search and rescue operations and to transport people and equipment.

Because of its limited local airspace, Singapore has stationed 12 Super Pumas in Oakey, Queensland for more than a decade under an agreement with the Australian Government to allow its air force to conduct training exercises.

Mr Lee also said he was "deeply saddened" to learn of the loss of lives and extensive damage caused by the Australian fires.

- *AFP*

I'm proud to be a Singaporean, now and forever! :)

Medical personnel, firefighters, forensics specialists, The Red Cross, trucking companies and volunteers from all over Australia have also made their way to Victoria to offer assistance.

The saddest thing about this tragedy is that, it takes a tragedy of this magnitude to bring out the humanity in people.

Wonder why it takes so much for the human race to show kindness, to extend a helping hand, to give without taking.

May God bless us all in this trying times!
